Two teams from Quantock Vale took part in the Junior Reading Finals on Sunday 27th November. Teams were named after the author of the book which was A Series of Unfortunate Events – The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket. Team Lemony were Holly Dyer, Holly Porter & Molly Weaver, Team Snicket were Ben Marchant-Saunders, Tabitha Dyer & Jack Taylor. In a very close competition Team Lemony were placed first. Both teams read very well and with confidence. Thanks must go to Bay Bardwell and David Cotton who kindly agreed to come along and judge the competition and to all those who came to support and made it a very enjoyable competition to watch.
